We had brisket, delicious! Homemade salads on the salad bar & homemade biscuits included in dinner. Server was attentive. Atmosphere rustic, clean. We will definitely be going back.
A rustic jewel in Schaghticoke with a laid-back BBQ vibe, great live music, and a full bar serving standout cocktails. The penne a la vodka and tender brisket were highlights, and every entrée comes with two sides and an endless salad bar (normally an $18 value!). Fresh produce, full cobs of corn, and hearty portions at reasonable prices—plus top-notch service. A spot you’ll want to come back to.
Catfish with salad bar, 2 biscuit's, 2 sides mac n cheese and broccoli. All very good! Catfish and biscuits very flakey. Lot of choices at salad bar. Broccoli was awesome along with a nice portion of mac n cheese. My wife got a burger with onion rings and enjoyed both. She even ate all her rings (which she never does) offering me none. Her burger was made to her asking and was very happy with it, which she hardly ever is. I notice the other couple at the bar was also enjoying there lunch too. I would come back again. I already am leaning toward the chilli. N & W DeBell, Troy Well back I came, today 07/21 I got the chili, cornbread and mac n cheese again. I made the right choice again. Mac n cheese was perfect! The corn bread was two nice size pieces and the chili was thick, tasty and very good. The portions are just perfect, quality of all perfect, service was perfect too and the prices are equal to anywhere/everywhere else. The atmosphere is homey and comfortable. What's next off the menu? I may have to try the burger, and onion rings my wife has gotten twice and not shared. Correction I did get her pickle which also was very good. The owner (?) cook always comes out to say hello and make sure all is well. My wife would give him, 5 ONION RINGS!
We came in tonight (Monday) and had Sarah as our waitress. We informed her we will be regulars for her now! She was delightful, very attentive, and wonderful all around. The food was great, whoever the chef is knows what they’re doing. We look forward to coming back! Thank you for a great night out!
We celebrated our son and his new bride‘s wedding here on 5-2-26 and everyone (18 total) were extremely happy with our meals from the quality, taste and portion size! Meals varied from the Chicken Parm, Burnt Ends, Fried Chicken, Steak, Alfredo, Vodka Past, Salad Bar (great selection/options), sweet potato fries and Mac & Cheese…ALL amazing! We were the first Wedding Reception they have done and they did amazing! The servers were on top of keeping things moving along! THANK YOU ALL!!! Don’t hesitate going to try them out for yourself! We plan on going back soon!
Absolutely fantastic place to eat. The bbq burnt ends and brisket was fabulous, and the Mac and cheese was creamy and tasty. The salad bar has a lot of options, the dressing all super. I wish I could have eaten more, but will be great as leftovers. Service was also great, sat at the bar and always had a drink filled. They have a great outdoor space too with a fire pit! Can’t wait to come back to try it out with a band in a Saturday night.
We originally came when they had first opened. As we suspected they were still trying to figure things out and the experience was sub par. We decided to wait a little bit for them to find their flow as a restaurant and upon returning tonight a couple months later i will say we had a phenomenal experience. The food was incredible and the service excellent. Everything was timely and fresh. The bill came to $101.49 for 2 appetizers, 3 meals, 1 beer, 1 whiskey sour and a few soft drinks. Will definitely be back regularly!
I can’t say enough good things about this place! From the moment you walk in, you feel the warmth and passion that went into creating this restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy and give a great western vibe, perfect for both a casual night out or a special occasion. The food? Incredible. Every dish is clearly made with love and attention to detail. You can taste the freshness in every bite, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. The chef even brought out a sample of homemade chips for us to try which I hope goes on the menu!!!! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about your dining experience. You’re not just another customer here—you’re treated like family. So proud of what my friend has built here. This is more than just a restaurant; it’s a place people will come back to again and again. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and go! I’m already planning my next visit!
The food and service was excellent. Our party had a Monte Cristo, the brisket dinner, a pulled pork quesadilla, and a brisket sandwich. Everyone in the party raved about the food. My Monte Cristo was excellent. The portions were large. I also had the Buckeye dessert cocktail which was amazing! Our server was friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend this restaurant!
